Kobe at Shiekh in Fox Hills Mall:

Lakers guard, Kobe Bryant took part in a midnight launch party for the public at our Shiekh Shoes store location in Fox Hills Mall to promote his long awaited new Nike Zoom Kobe I signature sneaker.  Fans came out as early as 6:00 am to be one of the first to own the sneaker and get an official autograph with the one and only.  The event was widely advertised on Power 106 and The Beat 100.3.  It was no wonder that thousands of fans came out that night.  Power 106 along with Nike representatives were there to keep the crowd entertained and provide gifts and raffle prizes.  That same day the ad for Kobe’s sneaker aired for the very first time.  He starts the narration of his ad by declaring, “Love me or hate me, it’s one or the other.”   Kobe’s image has sufficiently rehabbed to where he can now be an effective salesmen.  62 and 81 didn’t hurt in that regard one bit at all.
