The size is true to size, except this boot does not mold to your feet at all. The arch support is in the wrong place, the ankle is so wide (and not adjustable) that the boot slips on and off while you walk, not even the toe area is snug. There is nothing snug about this boot, and because it is so spacious and unfitted, it makes the boot impossible to walk in unless you can find a way to keep it on your feet. To give an idea of how loose fitting this boot is, I can slide it on and off my feet without unzipping it. Also, I have an 8" thick ankle, and the ankle size on the boot is 12" around. It's cute, but due to it being impossible to wear, I would not recommend this to anyone! Will be returning it.

I absolutely love these shoes! The size is correct, and they fit my foot really nice. I have a small ankle to begin with but I do not feel the shoe will ever slip off my foot. Great purchase!
